Learned a lot, easy to use

So, I decided to try 'plant based cooking modules' because I wanted to eat healthier. Honestly, it was pretty cool! The videos were simple to follow, and I picked up some great recipes. Didn't have any trouble navigating the site or anything. All in all, a good experience.

Meat prep course was helpful

Took the 'meat preparation tutorials'. Videos were clear. Learned some new cuts. Good instructions. Got what I needed from it.

Consistently good classes

This wasn't my first time with Culinry. I've taken a few courses before, like 'knife skills training' and 'baking basics'. This time I did the 'sauce making classes'. Just like the others, the quality of instruction was really consistent. They always deliver on what they promise, which is why I keep coming back.

Good value for fundamentals

I was looking for a decent cooking course that wouldn't break the bank. I picked up the 'culinary fundamentals' course during a holiday sale and got a pretty good discount. It felt like a solid investment for the price I paid. The lessons were clear, and I learned a lot for what it cost.

Solid content, minor delivery delay

I signed up for the 'pastry arts course' and generally, I'm quite happy with it. The content is thorough, and the instructors explain things well. The videos are high quality and easy to follow. My one small gripe was that it took almost a full day for my access link to process after payment, which felt a bit slow. But once I was in, the experience was smooth, and I think it's good value for learning these techniques.

Fantastic professional techniques!

I just finished the 'professional chef techniques' course and it was absolutely amazing! I can't believe how much I learned. The instructors were so knowledgeable, and the techniques they taught have already upped my cooking game significantly. I'm going to tell everyone I know about this place!

Are the lessons live or prerecorded videos? Just wondering if I need to block out specific times.

T Troy Marsh 2 months ago
They're all pre-recorded, so you can watch them whenever you want. Super flexible.

Nope, no live classes. All pre-recorded videos you can do at your own pace. Makes it easy to fit into a busy schedule.

I'm thinking about Culinry but also looking at MasterClass. Anyone have thoughts on which is better for actual skill building?

D Derek P. 2 months ago
MasterClass is cool for celeb chefs, but Culinry feels more structured for 'how-to' learning. More like a school, less like a documentary.

MasterClass is more inspirational, Culinry is definitely more hands-on teaching techniques. Depends what you're after. If you want to actually *learn* to cook better, Culinry seems more focused on that.

Can you use more than one coupon code on Culinry? Like, if I have a student discount and another promo?

N Noor J. 2 months ago
I tried that once, didn't work for me. Most online places only let you use one code at checkout.

Pretty sure most offers are for new subscribers only and you can't stack them. Always worth checking the fine print though.

How long do you actually get to keep access to the courses? Is it forever or just for your subscription period?

M Mia 2 months ago
As long as your subscription is active, you have access. If you cancel, it goes away.

It's tied to your membership. So if you pay for a year, you get it for a year. Not like a one-time purchase where you own it forever.

Does Culinry do Black Friday sales? Thinking about getting an annual sub.

D Dana Lindqvist 2 months ago
Yeah, they usually do. I got my subscription during their Black Friday deal last year, was a pretty good discount.

They definitely do, usually pretty hefty discounts on the annual memberships around that time. Keep an eye out in November.
